J’ai très froid.

I’m very cold.


J’ai soif.

I’m thirsty.


Les éléphants ont soif.

The elephants are thirsty.


Il a faim.

He’s hungry.


J’ai faim.

I’m hungry.


J’ai peur.

I’m afraid.


J’ai peur des serpents.

I’m afraid of snakes.


J’ai onze ans.

    Les éléphants ont soif.

    You did not pronounce a liasion between the s and the ont.
    Could there be one? Is it optional.
    In ils ont, there is a liasion, of course.

      Never make the liaison after les éléphants… It is not optional. It just does not sound good to the French ear…
