Here we are saying “to you”. For that we use the direct object pronoun “te”. Direct object pronouns are always placed before the verb. When we say “Je pense à toi”, we are saying… I’m thinking of you. For “of you”, we use “à toi”… of you. Toi is a disjunctive pronoun and is always placed after the verb.
